Survival of the Fittest

I started a blog because I sincerely feel I have something to offer people that will improve or entirely change the quality of their lives. I am an old guy with a spartan-like approach to physical fitness, to healthy living habits, and to life in general. I have authored two books, but the one I am presently revising, “Survival of the Fittest,” is my first “how-to” health and fitness book. It is designed to help people lead a healthier, happier, longer life. My book and the blogs that I will post are supported by a lifetime of wisdom (I am 72-years-old), experience, research, and education. To go along with my background teaching physical education and health education at all levels, I became a Certified Personal Trainer when I was 71-years-old. I believe strongly that we should speed up our workouts, our level of physical activity, and our lives in general, as we age. Muscles atrophy from lack of use well before they atrophy from old age. Besides writing about my passion for health and fitness, I have developed a PowerPoint presentation that I would like the whole world to see. And, to get my word to as many people as I possibly can, I’m considering producing a You Tube presentation. On my blog, I will offer tips on aerobic exercise, strength training, flexibility, stretching activities, other forms of physical activity, and nutrition. I sincerely hope that many of you will follow my lifestyle advice. In conclusion, I have one request–if you decide to follow me on my blog, please say “hello.” Moreover, after a few weeks, I would really enjoy hearing from you regarding your experience with my healthy living tips. And with questions that might inevitably have a bearing on your pursuit for a healthier lifestyle. Wherever you are across the globe, good luck and best wishes in your quest to improve the quality of your life.
